Bangladesh authorities have suspended the broadcast of all cricket matches of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL), which is scheduled to begin on March 26.
According to an official handout issued today, the decision by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to drop Bangladeshi cricketer Mustafizur Rahman from the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad has deeply saddened and shocked the people of Bangladesh.
In this situation, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting issued a letter today stating that the broadcast of all IPL matches and related events will remain suspended in Bangladesh until further notice.
