University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Professor Dr SMA Faiz cast his vote at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) polling centre on Thursday, arriving in a wheelchair.
Speaking to reporters after voting, he said the election was being held in a peaceful and orderly environment.
“Voting is taking place in a very pleasant atmosphere. I have never seen such a beautiful environment before,” he remarked.
