CEC to administer oath to new MPs-elect

The newly elected Members of Parliament (MPs) of the 13th National Parliament are set to take oath on Tuesday (17 February).

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin will administer the oath to the newly elected members of parliament.

The information was confirmed in a memorandum issued by the Bangladesh Parliament Secretariat on Monday (16 February).According to the notice, signed by Senior Secretary of the Election Commission (EC) Secretariat Akhtar Ahmed, the oath-taking ceremony will be held at 10:00am in the oath room of the Parliament Secretariat.
