Dhaka, 21 September, 2025: The National Consensus Commission on Saturday held a meeting with experts at the LD Hall of Jatiya Sangsad to discuss ways to implement the July National Charter 2025, said a press release.
The experts included Justice M A Matin, Justice Moinul Islam Chowdhury, DU Law Faculty Dean Prof Mohammad Ikramul Haque, Senior Advocate Sharif Bhuiyan, Barrister Tanim Hossain Shawon and Barrister Imran Siddique.
They were briefed on earlier discussions with political parties and the commission’s proposed recommendations. Political parties’ views and concerns were shared to give the experts full context.
The commission later heard the experts’ suggestions on strategies and mechanisms for implementation. Their recommendations will help shape future action plans.
Commission Vice-Chairman Prof Ali Riaz, members Badiul Alam Majumdar, Justice Md Emdadul Haque, Dr Iftekharuzzaman and Md Ayub Miah attended the meeting. Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser on national consensus, Monir Haider, was also present.
