DHAKA, Sept 28, 2025: The Election Commission (EC) is starting dialogues today with civil society representatives and election experts ahead of the general election planned for February next year.
Officials said the talks will be held in two sessions — from 10am to 12pm with civil society members, and from 2:30pm to 4:30pm with election experts.
EC spokesman M Asadul Haque told reporters that discussions with political parties, media professionals, women leaders, and freedom fighters will take place after the Durga Puja holidays.
According to EC officials, the dialogue process is expected to be completed within 45 days.
