Dhaka, Oct 8, 2025 : Bangladesh’s remittance inflow grew by 14.6 percent year-on-year, reaching US$8,278 million between July 1 and October 7, 2025, according to the latest data from the Bangladesh Bank (BB).
During the same period last fiscal year, remittances stood at $7,225 million.
The central bank report also shows that expatriates sent $692 million in the first seven days of October 2025, slightly higher than $683 million received during the same period last year.
The steady rise in remittance inflow reflects strong contributions from overseas workers and continued use of formal banking channels for money transfers.
