A nomination paper has been collected for BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to contest the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election from the Dhaka-17 constituency.
ABM Abdus Sattar, Private Secretary to the BNP Chairperson, collected the nomination paper at 11:10 am today from the office of Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Shofiuddin Ahmed Chowdhury in Segunbagicha.
BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the development, stating that Abdus Sattar collected the documents on behalf of Tarique Rahman.
In addition to Dhaka-17, Tarique Rahman will also contest from the Bogra-6 constituency in the same election.
